Dowty Bowls Club is an ex-works club,(established in 1952),
with its green situated midway between Gloucester and Cheltenham off
the B4036.
We are a mixed club playing friendly games most weekends and one
afternoon a week, together with Ladies and Glevum league games played
on Tuesday and Thursday evenings respectively.
"Opening of the Green" and all matches up to the end of May have been cancelled
due to the coronavirus outbreak.
This will be reviewed towards the end of May and further information will
be circulated both on the website and by E-mail.
The Dowty Sports& Social Club has also closed temporarily.
Membership is open to all age groups and new members are welcome.
The present membership age range from eighteen to over ninety years
of age.
Assistance is available for new or inexperienced bowlers.
The full facilities of the Dowty Sports and Social club are also
available to our members.
